Navigation GPS, Map & Compass

Half Day $75 per person / Full Day $125 per person

This course is an introduction to GPS and the necessary skills required to use your GPS receiver properly. Topics and exercises include using your GPS receiver, dealing with waypoints, using your GPS receiver with a map and compass, geo-caching exercises, and a navigation debrief. For most of the course we work in pairs.

Fly-Fishing

$125 per person

This full day session will include discussion about equipment, techniques, and fly-tying demonstration and how to read the water. Then enjoy a few hours of applying the skills that you have learned on the Crowsnest River. Alberta Anglers License required. Transportation to and from the river supplied.

Photography and Hiking

$125 per person

This full day course is suitable for the beginner or seasoned photographer, and focuses on what it takes to turn a good photo into a great one. the session will include information regarding equipment, film type, composition and lighting before we head out to enjoy photographing the scenic beauty of the fall colors in the High Rock range or the awakening spring of the Crowsnest Pass. Transportation to and from the trailhead is provided.
